Billy is very keen to encourage beginners and teaches by demonstration and sympathetic individual instruction.

This one day course is suitable for those with or without botanical painting experience.

It will be a wonderful chance to paint some of the beautiful plants at Pashley Manor, with inspiration from the venue itself.

Billy is a botanical artist with a strong sense of individual design and composition, she is known and teaches worldwide and has written and illustrated two books, Watercolour Flower Portraits (Search press 2006) and her recently published Watercolour Fruits and Vegetable Portraits (Search Press 2008), her work is also featured in the SBA’s (Society of Botanical Artists) two books The Art of Botanical Painting (Collins 2004) and the Botanical Palette (Collins 2007).

Billy has been awarded six Certificates of Botanical Merit from the SBA in consecutive years and her work is held at the RHS Lindley Library and the Hunt institute in the USA and in many private collections. Billy has also been invited to teach at the American Society of Botanical Artists at their Conference in 2010.
