Admission price depends on the day you visit: on normal opening days it is £9.00, free to HHA members and the Telegraph Subscribers offer, Art Fund offer and CPRE offer are all valid. If visited during the Tulip Festival (24th April every day to Bank Holiday Monday 6th May) £9.50 admission charge applies and there is no free entry to HHA members during the Tulip Festival. Telegraph Subscribers offer, CPRE offer, Art Fund offer and Gardener’s World offer are not valid during the Tulip Festival.

We open part of our woodland area which, in the flowering season, is covered in a soft blue mantle of thousands of bluebells. Visitors are welcome to walk through this fairy tale area.

PLANT AND GARDEN FAIR
Sunday 19th May, 10am – 5pm
Special admission price £7.50 includes entry to the gardens and the fair.

(The Telegraph Subscribers offer, CPRE offer, Art Fund offer and Gardener’s World offer are not valid during this special event. HHA members can show their cards to gain free entry).

Around 30 selected nurseries and garden related companies will be exhibiting, including suppliers specialising in fruit and ornamental trees, Japanese maples, alpines and ferns as well as a wide range of perennials, shrubs, bedding plants, vegetable plants, herbs and more.

Other items for sale will include unusual and vintage garden tools, plant supports, award winning hypertufa troughs and garden ornaments.

Produce will also be represented by stalls selling cobnuts, and products made from cobnuts, locally made juices, asparagus and eggs etc.

The Plant and Garden Fair will be held in the field in front of the Manor house. The gardens will be open an hour earlier than usual, at 10am, and the special entry price of £7.50 includes admission to the gardens and the Fair.
