In 2007 hundreds of lilies in over 40 fascinating varieties, some highly perfumed, were planted throughout the gardens and in the woodland area to make a stunning high summer display.

In addition, more new lily bulbs were planted in 2008 and this year these lilies, which had one head each last year, should blossom into two heads as they become more established.
