Tradition and Innovation in One Day

Begin your day in the traditional splendour of the gardens at Pashley followed by lunch (not included in the price) and then on to Great Dixter House and Gardens.

Great Dixter was the family home of Christopher Lloyd, who devoted his lifetime to creating one of the most experimental, exciting and innovative gardens. Incorporating many medieval buildings, the gardens surround the house each complementing the other.

From yew topiary, carpets of meadow flowers, the colourful tapestry of mixed borders (including the famous Long Border), natural ponds, a formal pond and the exuberant Exotic Gardens, there is much to see. £20.50* per person.

A Day Out for Discerning Garden Lovers

Pashley Manor Gardens & Merriments Gardens

Enjoy the gardens at Pashley in the morning followed by lunch (not included in the price) and then go on to Merriments Gardens in the afternoon. Merriments is a unique combination of a garden, large plant nursery and garden shop.

Merriments Gardens covers 4 acres with deep sweeping borders of a variety of different plants throughout the seasons; the hot border is at its most dramatic in high summer with a vast panoply of richly coloured plants. The nursery grows an extensive range of perennials, shrubs and trees, priding itself on a wonderful selection of unusual plants, many of which can be seen growing in the garden. £17.00* per person.
