GROUP INFORMATION

Visiting Pashley

Planning your Visit
We recommend a minimum of two hours to visit the Gardens, however, most groups stay much longer than this, enjoying the delicious lunches and teas available from the Garden Room Café. The house is a family home and regrettably not open to the public.

Admission
Groups of 15 or more people: £7.50 per person
Arrival before 11.00 am: £8.50 per person
Tulip Festival 23rd April – 3rd May inclusive £8.50 per person

Conducted Tours
Personally Conducted Tours of the Garden led by either James Sellick (the Owner), or the Head Gardener, Keith Boylett, may be arranged. The tours last 1-1½ hours. The cost for up to 25 people is £112.50, plus Admission Fee, for over 25 people an extra £4.50 is charged for each additional person.

Alternatively, a short introductory talk can be arranged which lasts 15 -20 minutes at a cost of £35.00 for up to approximately 35 people. This talk gives a brief history of both Pashley Manor and the Gardens.

It is not compulsory for groups to pre-book refreshments, but the Café operates a buffet style service and it would be very helpful to know your requirements prior to your visit and how you wish to pay.

Please note that on Special Event Days as the Café operates with a slightly simplified menu, set menus are not available.

In fine weather picnics may be taken in the Car Park field, and adjacent field, with marvelous views over the surrounding hills. There are a few picnic tables and benches in the field but we regret picnics may not be taken in the Gardens.

Please ensure you take all of your litter home with you.

Parking
Pashley Manor is situated on the B2099 – just off the A21. Parking is available for up to 5 coaches (and there is ample parking for cars). Coach drivers enter the Gardens free of charge, and will be presented with a Refreshment Voucher on arrival.

Booking Procedure & Payment

Sadly, we have experienced late cancellations in the past, which have cost us money; therefore we have reluctantly had to impose a £50.00 booking charge (£100 non-refundable deposit for bookings during the Tulip Festival, see note below) which is refundable in the event of cancellations notified to us more than 14 days before the visit.

When you have made a provisional date for your visit, would you kindly telephone to check that we have availability before sending us your booking form.

Please do not e-mail booking forms but return them by post with the deposit cheque.

Note for visits during a Special Event
As it can be very busy on Special Events days, and the number of Groups we are able to take is restricted, early booking is recommended; for the Tulip Festival we have occasionally had to turn away bookings so we will require a £100 deposit for bookings during the Tulip Festival, which will be non refundable. Should you wish to send a coach at the last moment you are always welcome to telephone and we will do our very best to fit you in.

Upon receipt of your group booking form we will send a letter of confirmation and a pre-payment voucher / receipt.

The balance must be paid on the day by cheque, cash or credit card.

It is very helpful if the Organiser or Guide collects entrance money before arriving at Pashley and presents one payment.
