SCULPTURE AND ART AT PASHLEY

Pashley Manor Gardens - Philip Jackson sculpture in hot garden taken by Ray Pearson

The Gardens provide the perfect setting for sculpture. Each year the work of many eminent sculptors is displayed as well as work by local artists.

The sculpture ranges from abstract to engagingly figurative.

Many different styles and materials are employed to delight every taste and most pieces are for sale.

Among those who have exhibited at Pashley Manor Gardens are:

Bob Allen, John Brown, Peter Clarke, Mary Cox, Kate Denton, Ann Hogben, Philip Jackson, Silvia MacRae Brown, Ev Meynell, James Millborrow, Jane Munro, Dick Onians, Guy Portelli, Helen Sinclair and Jenny Wynne-Jones.

The popular Sculpture Fortnight returns on Saturday 17th May and Pashley will be open every day, up to and including, Thursday 29th May.

During this time, in addition to the sculpture in the gardens, part of the Manor House will be open for the display and sale of smaller pieces and maquettes.

Reflecting the garden setting there is an exhibition and sale of seasonal botanical art in the Garden Room Café and in the Gift Shop.

This is complimented by botanical prints, cards and gifts available among other treasures in the shop.
